Leonie Kappmeyer

Leonie studied Musical Theatre at Fontys Academy of the Arts in the Netherlands and at the Royal Academy of Music in London under the wing of Mary Hammond and Dan Bowling. She graduated with distinction, winning a DipRAM award for her final performance.

Right after finishing her studies, Leonie originated the role of Lorna in the new Irish musical SISTERS in Dublin, Ireland. Her next professional engagement brought her to Germany, where she portrayed Sally Bowles in the musical CABARET. After that, she played Christine Daaé (Cover) in Cameron Mackintosh’s THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA in Vienna. Having worked and studied in five different countries, Leonie is fluent in English, German and Dutch. She has been working as a singing teacher for the past six years.
